During a press conference, Malik outlined the security measures and facilities arranged for this high-profile event, set to be attended by notable dignitaries, including Australian Deputy Prime Minister Richard Marles, Assam Chief Minister, and Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

Acknowledging the expected influx of fans and the importance of seamless transportation, Malik encouraged the use of the metro service, which will be operational until 1 am to facilitate the movement of cricket enthusiasts.

The police department has mobilized a substantial force for this event, with nearly 2000 police officers being called in from outside jurisdictions to assist.
