The Border Security Force (BSF) made a significant discovery when they recovered a Pakistani drone from a field situated on the outskirts of Dhanoe Khurd village in Amritsar, Punjab. The recovery was made during a meticulous search operation conducted by BSF Punjab Frontier on a Friday.

    Joint Operation Unveils Drone

The search operation, initiated by the BSF, was prompted by specific intelligence information regarding the presence of a drone in the vicinity. Collaborating with Punjab Police, including Amritsar Rural Police, BSF launched a joint operation that led to the recovery of a Pakistani quadcopter drone, identified as a Model-DJI Mavic 3 Classic. This operation was a testament to the coordinated efforts of the security forces.

    Ongoing Efforts Against Smuggling

This recent recovery follows another notable incident on November 1 when the BSF thwarted an attempt at narcotics smuggling. In that operation, a drone carrying illicit drugs weighing approximately 3.242 kilograms was intercepted near Amritsar’s Rajatal village.

These successful operations emphasize the vigilance and commitment of security forces in combatting various illicit activities and maintaining the safety and security of the region.
