Bovine smuggling bid foiled, 02 bovines rescued, 01 vehicles seized by JKP in Sub-division Nagrota.

Jammu, 11.03.2025: Jammu police tightening its noose against bovine smugglers under operation Kamdhenu Police team of Police post Manwal has foiled bovine smuggling attempt in which 02 bovines were rescued from vehicle Mahindra bearing registration number No. JK02CP/2486 at Naka Nadal Manwal.

The driver of the vehicle namely Shakil Ahmed S/o Bashir Ahmed R/o Nalgoor, Kathua apprehended . Two bovines were rescued and the vehicles were seized.

Further investigation is underway. General public have appreciated the continuous and strict actions of police against Bovine smugglers.
