BJP President J P Nadda Takes Aim at Congress, Touts Modi’s Leadership
BJP President J P Nadda, addressing a public gathering during the ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra’, lambasted the Congress while commending Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership. Targeting the opposition, he criticized their initiative for a ‘nyay yatra’ after their past injustice towards society.
Nadda took a swipe at the Congress’s ‘Bharat Nyay Yatra’, highlighting the past actions of the party and its sudden focus on national welfare. He emphasized the BJP’s vision under Modi’s leadership, accusing the opposition coalition, including the Congress, of hindering the country’s progress.
Regarding Modi’s initiatives, Nadda praised the government’s focus on empowering India’s youth through schemes like Startup India, Khelo India, and Fit India. He highlighted the achievements in sports, attributing them to the government’s initiatives for youth development.
The BJP chief reiterated Modi’s commitment to four major pillars—women, farmers, youths, and the poor, expressing that by strengthening these sectors, India would progress toward its developmental goals.
Nadda also lauded the BJP government in Uttar Pradesh, acknowledging the state’s transformation under Yogi Adityanath’s leadership, emphasizing the state’s progress and its leap from its previous image as a state of lawlessness.
The visit saw Nadda being welcomed by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, with Adityanath expressing a warm welcome and appreciation for Nadda’s visit to the innovative and investment-friendly ‘New Uttar Pradesh’.
Both leaders, along with other BJP members, later tuned in to Prime Minister Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ radio broadcast, where the Prime Minister emphasized the country’s spirit of ‘Viksit Bharat’ and self-reliance, urging the nation to maintain this momentum in 2024. Modi also stressed the importance of physical and mental health, highlighting unique efforts made for ‘Fit India’.
