Arvind Kejriwal Vows Uninterrupted Development Amidst Challenges

He referenced instances where key AAP leaders, Manish Sisodia and Satyendar Jain, faced legal scrutiny for building schools and Mohalla clinics, respectively. Kejriwal accused central agencies of targeting AAP leaders but asserted that the BJP’s attempts to hinder their work would not succeed.
Budget Critique: Kejriwal Highlights Disparity in Education and Health Allocation
In response to the Union Budget presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, Kejriwal criticized the allocation for education and health. He pointed out that Delhi’s government consistently dedicates around 40% of its budget to these sectors, while the Union Budget allocates only 4%. Kejriwal emphasized the Delhi government’s focus on enhancing education and healthcare services, contrasting it with what he viewed as inadequate budgetary priorities at the central level.
Defiance Amidst Challenges: Kejriwal Rejects BJP’s Pressures
Addressing the summons he faces in connection with the Delhi Police probe and Enforcement Directorate case, Kejriwal affirmed that even if he were sent to jail, the ongoing initiatives, including school construction and healthcare services, would persist. He accused the BJP of attempting to coerce AAP members into joining their party but asserted that the AAP would not yield. Kejriwal credited the support and prayers of Delhi residents for the resilience of his government.
