Arms and Ammunition Recovered in JK’s Poonch

In a joint operation, the police and army in the Mendhar area of Poonch, Jammu and Kashmir, discovered a bag containing arms and ammunition. Acting on specific information, the security forces launched the operation, leading to the recovery of the items from an area near a natural cave.

The recovered items included a 9mm pistol with nine bullets, 159 Ak-47 rounds, one pouch, as well as clothing items, including a Khan-dress, a black trouser, and a pink waterproof suit, all found in a bag.

The operation aims to maintain peace and security in the region by preventing the illicit storage and use of weapons and ammunition.
