    In a significant initiative to ensure the safety and well-being of women in the district, Anantnag Police has launched a 24/7 Women Help Desk, providing dedicated mobile numbers at seven police stations across the district.

    This initiative aims to offer a robust support system for women in distress, whether married or unmarried, by addressing issues such as domestic violence, harassment, and other gender-related concerns.

    The help desks are manned by dedicated female police officers, ensuring that women have a safe and comfortable platform to report any problems they encounter in their daily lives.
