 Continuing its special drive against wanted criminals and absconders Doda Police has arrested absconder who was evading arrest since last 03 years.
 
  While giving details Doda Police said that accused Mohd Hussain S/O Ghulam Qadir R/o Bhartal Batote Tehsil District Ramban was involved in  bovine smuggling case bearing FIR NO.161/2021 under section 188 IPC, 11 PC Act which was registered  against him in Police station Doda. 

After completion of investigation of the case, challan was produced in the court of law. The accused person was declared as absconder and   warrant of arrest was issued against him by the Hon'ble court of Chief Judicial Magistrate Doda.

On the directions of SSP Doda Sh Sandeep Kumar Mehta-JKPS, a police team was constituted from PS Doda led by Inspector Parvaiz Ahmed Khanday SHO PS Doda and the team during search utilized human and technical services  and ultimately  after hectic efforts the team arrested  the absconder from peripheral area of District Doda and produced him  before  the court of law.

 Mentionable here that on the directions of SSP Doda, special drive has been launched by Doda Police and special teams have been constituted at PS level for the arrest of absconders, /wanted criminals and (19) absconders have been arrested so far during the current year.
