Jharkhand Road Accident: Five Family Members Killed, Including Three Children
Jharkhand, June 12, 2026 [VoM News]: At least five members of a family, including three children, lost their lives after their car crashed into a roadside tree in the Simdega district of Jharkhand, officials said.
According to officials, the driver lost control of the ill-fated vehicle, which rammed into a roadside tree, resulting in five fatalities and four serious injuries.
As per officials, the accident took place at Agharma in the Kolebira area of Simdega district. Dharamdeo Paswan told PTI that the injured were shifted to a hospital in Ranchi, while the condition of two of them remains critical.
The deceased have been identified as Gulam Mustafa (58) and his wife Gulshan Ara (48), Anabya Parveen (3), daughter of Mihsin Hashmi from Ranchi’s Doranda area, Aayra Naaz (18 months), daughter of Arshi Hashmi from Kolebira in Simdega, and Md Arsh Hashmi (8).
Police have initiated an inquiry into the accident.
