UAE Directly Involved in Aggression Against Iran: Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi
ABU DHABI, May 14 [VoM News]: Amid the fragile ceasefire between Iran and Israel, which has remained in effect since April 8, and with talks and negotiations yet to be confirmed, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi made remarks regarding the alleged active role of the United Arab Emirates in the US-Israeli aggression against Iran.
Araghchi made the statements while speaking during the BRICS summit in India. He added that the United Arab Emirates neither condemned the attacks on Iran nor ruled out possible involvement.
Through a Telegram post, Araghchi said, “The UAE is an active partner in this aggression, and there is no doubt about it.”
The remarks came amid reports of a secret wartime meeting between Benjamin Netanyahu and Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, which, according to reports, have not been denied by observers in the United Arab Emirates.
“Iranian authorities believe the UAE was directly involved in actions against Iran,” Araghchi added.
However, Gulf nations, including the United Arab Emirates, have denied the accusations and earlier stated that they would not allow anyone to use their territory for any form of military aggression against Iran.
On the other side, the United Arab Emirates has also accused Iran of carrying out a drone attack on an energy facility, an allegation rejected by Tehran.
