BJP President JP Nadda Accuses Chhattisgarh Government of Corruption

On Sunday, BJP President JP Nadda launched a scathing attack on the Chhattisgarh government led by Bhupesh Baghel, accusing it of indulging in “corruption” and asserting that the Congress-led administration has no right to remain in power in the state. Nadda made these statements during the ‘Booth Vijya Sankalp Abhiyan’ program in the Amlidih area under the Raipur Rural constituency, following Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ radio broadcast.

Call to Action for BJP Workers

Nadda urged BJP workers to visit every household within their respective polling booths and encourage people to vote in the upcoming state elections, which will be conducted in two phases on November 7 and 17.

    Allegations of Corruption and Scams

He strongly criticized the Bhupesh Baghel government, labeling it as “corrupt,” “incompetent,” and “unbelievable.” Nadda questioned whether a government led by a Chief Minister whose secretary had been in jail for years should remain in power. He also highlighted allegations of corruption in various sectors, including a liquor scam, government job recruitment, and failure to fulfill promises made to the youth and women.

    Promotion of Voter Engagement

Nadda encouraged his party workers to reach out to voters and motivate them to participate in the democratic process. He stressed the importance of voting to strengthen democracy, irrespective of the party people choose to support.

The Chhattisgarh assembly elections will be held in two phases, with the first phase covering 20 assembly seats on November 7, and the second phase encompassing 70 seats, including Raipur Rural constituency, on November 17.

Following his address to BJP workers, Nadda proceeded to the Dongargarh assembly constituency in Rajnandgaon district for a public meeting. He was also scheduled to hold road rallies in Khairagarh, Chhuikhadan, and Gandai towns before addressing another public meeting in the Pandariya constituency.
