
Jammu Kashmir State Taxes Dept Launches Helpline for E-Way Bill Issues
The Jammu and Kashmir State Taxes Department (STD) has launched dedicated helpline numbers to assist taxpayers facing issues with the E-Way Bill system.
Officials said the initiative aims to provide immediate support for problems such as errors in bill generation, system glitches, or queries regarding compliance requirements. The helplines will function during official working hours and will be staffed by trained professionals familiar with Goods and Services Tax (GST) and E-Way Bill regulations.
The department has released specific helpline contacts for different enforcement zones. For Enforcement Jammu (Central), the numbers are 9419157257, 9419126915, 7006963445, 9419187455, 8494000145 and 7889800627. For Kathua (headquartered at Lakhanpur), taxpayers can call 7780938794, 7006473528, 7889631158, 7889557748, 9419135215, 9419142557, 9419661577, 7006956379 and 7006298189. For Udhampur (Jammu North), the helplines are 8082706813 and 7889766235.
