
Jammu Police Books a Criminal In Arnia Area of Jammu
Jammu police under the leadership of SSP Jammu,Sh. Joginder Singh-JKPS tightening noose against the Criminals, Police Station Arnia apprehended another notorious Criminal from Kathar ,Arnia area & booked him under the Jammu and Kashmir Public Safety Act (PSA).
It shows the high commitment of Jammu Police towards ensuring the peace and harmony in Jammu area.
The PSA detenue has been identified as Raman Kumar S/O Bodh Raj Caste Brhaman R/O Kathar ,Arnia .
Raman is a notorious criminal with a history of violent and heinous offences.
Despite multiple arrests and legal actions, he has consistently shown a blatant disregard for the law and continued his involvement in criminal activities, posing a serious threat to public peace and security.
Routine legal measures having failed to deter his unlawful conduct, his preventive detention under PSA was deemed necessary to protect public order and prevent further criminal acts.
Following his repeated engagement in criminal activities, multiple FIR’s are registered against the accused for indulging in such criminal activities.
The PSA warrant issued by the District Magistrate Jammu of the said accused was executed on 17.04.2025 and the subject was accordingly lodged in District Jail Udhampur.
The relentless efforts of SHO Arnia, SDPO R S Pura under the close supervision of SP Headquarters Jammu resulted in execution of this warrant.The support from District administration in this regards is exemplary.
General public have appreciated the proactive role of Jammu police for taking stringent actions against Criminals.
