
More snow expected in Jammu Kashmir Jan 03, predicts MeT
As per the Meteorological Department, Jammu Kashmir, a fresh spell of snowfall is expected from January 01 onwards. As two western disturbances are going to affect Jammu Kashmir and its neighboring parts, the weather activity is expected to change after January 03.
As per MeT, the first Western Disturbance, a feeble system likely to bring light snow, cloudy skies during the evening of January 1 till the morning of January 2, could lead to snowfall at scattered places. Whereas, the second western disturbance, with moderate intensity, is expected to take place between January 03 and January 06, likely causing cloudy, wavy weather with light to moderate snowfall at scattered places in the Jammu division.
