    In a major success, Jammu police on Thursday, arrested four drug peddlers, including three women in Jammu. Surprising, the women are also now involved in drug peddling, which itself is a serious concern. Around, 40.5 grand of drugs (heroin), and some sharp-edged weapons also have been recovered, as per police officials.

    The police, which acting on tip-off busted this network, smartly nabbed these drugs peddlers, identify as Parveen Kumar, Rekha Kumari, Jyoti Bala and Rashmi Langeh. All are the residents of Chorli, Bishnah village. This drug network was responsible for drugs distribution among locals of the area, said an official.

    The police has initiated an investigation in this matter, and case has been registered under NDPS at Bishnah Police Station. Now, the air would be cleared, after the police will reveal the further details, after a through investigation.

    However, drugs have become a serious concern in recent years, and is deepening its roots more and more in society. As police is committed to eradicate this menace, and the public cooperation is much required to report any such activities to nearest police post.
