Jammu, 7th October: The Jammu Police has successfully recovered 50 missing mobile phones from the Rural Zone, Jammu, with an estimated worth of Rs 7.5-8 lakhs.
The recovery was made by the Emergency Support Unit (ESU) of the SP Rural Office, Jammu, after complaints were lodged by various individuals across different Police Stations and Posts in the rural area.
The missing phone reports were forwarded to the ESU unit by the respective Station House Officers (SHOs) and In-Charge Police Posts (ICPPs). Upon receiving the reports, the ESU team was tasked with tracing and recovering the phones under the supervision and guidance of SP Rural Jammu.
With dedicated efforts and close coordination between the ESU unit and local law enforcement, including the Sub-Divisional Police Officers (SDPOs), SHOs, and ICPPs, the phones were successfully recovered from various districts across the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir.
The thorough and prompt action led to the closure of many pending reports of lost mobile devices.
The recipients of the recovered phones expressed their gratitude to the Jammu Police, acknowledging the hard work and dedication displayed by the ESU team.
This achievement highlights the efficiency and commitment of the Jammu Police in addressing public grievances and solving cases related to lost or stolen property.
