School Teacher Suspended for corporal punishment in kishtwar
In Jammu Kashmir’s district, a government school teacher has been suspended on Sunday for allegedly resorting to corporal punishment to a student, as per officials.
As per reports, a school teacher from Inderwal, identified as Anyatullah Ahanger was suspended after a video surfaces on social media, in which a student subjected to corporal punishment.
The accused teacher has been suspended by the concerned officer, Chief Education Officer kishtwar, where’s a three-member committe has been constituted to enquire the matter.
A three-member has been formed to conduct a thorough investigation into the matter. The committee includes Deputy CEO Masood Qazi, Principal of HSS Chatroo Vinod, and Lecturer of HSS Boys Kishtwar Jagdish Chauhan. They have been tasked with submitting a detailed report, along with their recommendations, to the office of the Chief Education Officer, Kishtwar, within the coming weeks.
