JK Govt Postpones Holiday for Urs of Sheikh Noor-ud-Din in Kashmir

The government on Saturday postponed holiday on account of Urs of Sheikh Noor-ud-Din (RA) which was scheduled on Monday for Kashmir Province.

“In partial modification of Government Order No. 1582-JK(GAD) of 2023 dated 11.12.2023, the Provincial holiday on account of Urs Sheikh Noor-ud-Din Sahib, scheduled on 30.09.2024 for Kashmir Province, is hereby postponed,” reads a government order, a copy of which lies with GNS.

The fresh date regarding same shall be notified separately, the order added. (GNS)
