The event, held on the third day of the campaign, involved students from all schools across the district, offering them a unique opportunity to express their understanding of electoral participation through art.
The competition was organized under the guidance of District Election Officer Doda, Harvinder Singh, and supervised by Nodal Officer SVEEP, Parkash Lal Thapa, Chief Education Officer of Doda.
The initiative aimed to educate students on the importance of voting, national integration, and the power of democracy.
Students displayed their creativity by crafting colorful and intricate rangoli designs that highlighted key themes such as voting rights, the significance of democracy, and the role of citizens in electoral processes.
The rangolis served as a vibrant visual representation of the students’ grasp of these important concepts, blending artistic expression with civic education.
The event, which took place simultaneously across all schools in the district, was evaluated by a panel of local artists and educators.
The judges commended the students for their ingenuity and the depth of understanding reflected in their artwork.
Through this innovative approach, the SVEEP campaign not only enhanced voter awareness but also inspired a sense of active citizenship among the youth of Doda District, emphasizing the vital role that every individual plays in shaping the future of democracy.
