SRINAGAR: A tragic road accident in Kulgam’s Zazripora area on Saturday resulted in the death of a young man and left three others injured after a head-on collision between two motorcycles. The incident has sparked concerns over road safety in the region.
According to officials, the collision occurred near Zazripora when two motorcycles crashed into each other, leading to severe injuries among the four individuals involved.
The injured were immediately rushed to the district hospital in Kulgam, but sadly, one of them, Suhail Ahmad Reshi, succumbed to his injuries while en route to the hospital.
The other three injured individuals, identified as Hidayat Ahmad Reshi, Mohammad Arif Thokar, and Faizan Amin, received initial treatment at the district hospital.
Due to the severity of their injuries, they were later referred to the Government Medical College (GMC) in Anantnag for advanced care.
The sudden and tragic loss of Suhail Ahmad Reshi has sent shockwaves through the local community, where he was well-known.
The incident has once again highlighted the dangers of reckless driving and the need for stricter enforcement of traffic laws to prevent such accidents in the future.
