Chenab Hosts JK UT Taekwondo Championships 2024
Doda::The chenab open J&K-UT Taekwondo Championship 2024 commenced at Indoor Stadium Doda here today, Jammu.
The Championship is being held under the emblem of My Youth My Pride and was organized by J&K Taekwondo Association under the aegis of Taekwondo Federation of India and J&K Sports Council (JKSC).
The first day witnessed a massive combative skill show between the Sub-Junior, Junior and Cadet Athlete’s in both male and female categories. More than 300 players participated in different weight categories from across J&K.
Shri Kheem Chand Principal JNV was Chief Guest alongwith Ms Deepa Koul, Brinder Singh Manhas, & Nadeem Niaz Zargar were also present on the occasion.
The organising committee was led by Mr Junaid Ali Khan President TADD.In the referee panel, Vinod Kumar (NR), Shanaz Parveen (NR), Suhail Ahmad Khan (NR), Dushyant Kapta (NR), and includes J&K Referee , Shah Faisal , Humara Manzoor, Tajamul Gani, Sumit Kumar, Rakesh Singh, Suresh Singh, Sidharth Sharma, Zain Nazir and Sonam Chospal.
The medallist players will represent J&K-UT in the upcoming Open National Taekwondo Championships organized by Taekwondo Federation of India.
