    Maulana Fazlur Rehman, chief of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F), refuted claims of considering a grand alliance against the government, The News International reported. Speaking in Thatta, Rehman highlighted their ongoing movement against the government, focusing on Form 47, and announced a massive march in Peshawar on May 9, with further rallies planned for other cities.

    Addressing reporters, Rehman shared his perspective on PTI founder Imran Khan, acknowledging legal issues while refraining from personal attacks. He stressed the importance of purposeful negotiations between political parties to enhance the country’s political atmosphere and foster national development.

    Regarding the government’s performance, Rehman urged transparency in evaluating its accomplishments. Earlier in the week, he reiterated his call for new elections, citing alleged rigging and irregularities in the previous general elections. Rehman emphasized the necessity of upholding democratic integrity through fresh elections to ensure the people’s voices are heard and respected.
