DC Doda Celebrates Long-Serving PWD Engineers’ Retirement in Doda
Doda, April 30: The Deputy Commissioner Doda, Harvinder Singh, led a heartfelt celebration to honor the retirement of two dedicated engineers from the Public Works Department (PWD), Er Ram Paul Gupta and Er Niaz Ahmed, after 36 years of committed service.
Er Ram Paul Gupta, who retired as Superintending Engineer from the PWD (R&B) Circle Doda-Kishtwar at Doda, served in various capacities, from Junior Engineer to Superintending Engineer, across multiple wings of the department. His colleagues and superiors praised his unwavering dedication and significant contributions throughout his career.
Er Niaz Ahmed, an Assistant Engineer with the PWD (R&B) Division Doda, also retired after 36 years of service, having held roles including Junior Engineer, Assistant Executive Engineer, and Assistant Engineer in different wings of the PWD (R&B) Department.
The event, which took place at the headquarters in Doda, was attended by several dignitaries, including the CEO of the Bhaderwah Development Authority (BDA), Bal Krishan. Deputy Commissioner Harvinder Singh extended his best wishes to both engineers for a fulfilling post-retirement life, acknowledging their hard work and dedication to the service.
