Congress Seeks Support from Anti-national Forces : Dr. Jitendra
Union Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate for Udhampur-Doda-Kathua Lok Sabha constituency, Dr Jitendra Singh on Saturday accused the Congress Party of resorting to desperate measures, including seeking support from anti-national forces, in a “futile attempt” to garner votes for the upcoming first-phase polling on 19th of this month.
Addressing a series of public meetings in the rural and urban suburbs of Kathua, including Challan, Seswan, Bann, Channi, Hamirpur, Bhudhi, Jandore, Barbal, Utteri, Logate, Sahar, Sherkotla, Khatera, Bhed Blode, Mehtabpur, Khokhiyal, Pandore, and others, Dr Jitendra Singh asserted that the Congress Party lacks any substantial issues to raise or development work to showcase in the last 20 years. He accused the party of resorting to creating false narratives that are not accepted by the people, who are now more aware than ever before.

The Union Minister highlighted the Congress Party’s “failed attempts” to deny any development in the Udhampur-Doda-Kathua Lok Sabha constituency over the last decade, despite significant progress under the Modi government. He challenged the Congress Party’s narrative, pointing out the infrastructure projects like roads, tunnels, overbridges, and express corridors built in the region during the last 10 years.
Regarding the abrogation of Article 370, Dr Jitendra accused the Congress of downplaying Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s courage and conviction. He challenged the party to openly declare whether they would restore Article 370 if they ever came to power.
Similarly, Dr Singh criticised the grand old party for attempting to undermine PM Modi’s role in the construction of the Ram Mandir, accusing them of politicizing the issue. “Resolving the Ram Mandir issue was not a matter of politics but deeply embedded in India’s civilisation,” he said.
The Union Minister accused Congress leaders of seeking direct support from political parties known to side with separatists, including the PDP and the National Conference, which have “never been in favour of the complete integration of Jammu and Kashmir with India”.
Dr Jitendra urged voters to support Modi and the BJP, stating that any vote for the Congress would mean a vote to break India and halt its progress.
