Gold prices experienced a slight uptick on Tuesday, with 24 carat gold reaching Rs.6812.4 per gram, up by Rs.729.0, and 22 carat gold at Rs.6240.2 per gram, up by Rs.668.0.

In the past week, 24 carat gold witnessed a decrease of -1.99%, while over the last month, it declined by -6.06%. Meanwhile, silver prices rose to Rs.77900.0 per kilogram, marking an increase of Rs.500.0 per kilogram.

Regional Variations

In Delhi, the gold rate stood at ₹68124.0/10 grams, and the silver price was ₹77900.0/kg. Chennai saw gold priced at ₹67395.0/10 grams and silver at ₹80900.0/kg. In Mumbai, gold was priced at ₹67461.0/10 grams, with silver at ₹77900.0/kg. Kolkata recorded a gold rate of ₹68256.0/10 grams and a silver price of ₹77900.0/kg.

The gold April 2024 MCX futures traded at Rs.65918.0 per 10 grams, while silver July 2024 MCX futures were at Rs.76137.0 per kilogram at the time of publishing.
