
Bangkok Pub Fire Kills 27, Dozens Injured; Thailand PM Anutin Charnvirakul Visits Scene
VoM News Desk, July 13, 2026: A massive fire swept through a pub in Thailand’s capital, Bangkok, killing at least 27 people, while 63 others were injured.
Reports say the fire erupted shortly after midnight on Sunday at the Na Ladprao pub in the city’s northern area. Firefighters brought the blaze under control within about 30 minutes.
Thick smoke spread rapidly after the fire reached the ceiling. Bangkok Governor Chadchart Sittipunt said smoke inhalation is believed to be the primary cause of most of the deaths.

It has also been reported that, of the injured, 22 remain in critical condition.
Thailand Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul, who visited the scene, said the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
Meanwhile, authorities found several victims near a fire exit, raising concerns that escape routes may have been obstructed during the emergency.
However, there is no exact clarity on the number of people who were inside the venue at the time of the incident.
Authorities are investigating the factors, violations, and lapses that may have led to the massive fire.
