Expressing his satisfaction, PM Modi took to X to share his thoughts, stating, “I had an excellent meeting with PM @GiorgiaMeloni. Our talks covered sectors such as trade, commerce, defence, emerging technologies, and more. India and Italy will keep working together for global prosperity.”
The Venue: Bharat Mandapam in Pragati Maidan
The significant meeting between the two leaders transpired at the prestigious Bharat Mandapam located in Pragati Maidan, the designated venue for the two-day G20 Summit. This setting provided an ideal backdrop for discussions of global importance.

It’s worth noting that Meloni had previously visited India in March of the same year to attend the eighth edition of the Raisina Dialogue.
