President Fernández highlighted the unique and special relationship between India and Argentina. Interestingly, he drew attention to a common cultural icon, Lionel Messi, who is celebrated and cherished in both Argentina and India. Argentina’s BRICS Membership and Proposal for a Common Currency
President Fernández expressed his appreciation for Argentina’s invitation to join the BRICS alliance following the 15th BRICS Summit. He commended the founding members of BRICS for their decision to expand the alliance by incorporating new countries. President Fernández stated that Argentina believes Russia’s actions in the conflict were wrong.
