He acknowledged that over 80 countries have embraced meditation due to Acharya Goenka’s endeavors, giving Vipassana a universal identity. The Prime Minister credited India’s global influence, exemplified by the overwhelming support of more than 190 countries for India’s proposal of International Yoga Day at the United Nations.
