Court Reserves Order on ED’s Prosecution Complaint in Rs. 36 Crore Property Case
The Rouse Avenue court reserved its order on the cognizance of the Prosecution Complaint (Charge Sheet) filed by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in the Rs. 36 crore property case. The ED has already filed the charge sheet against several individuals, including AAP MLA Amanat Ullah Khan. It is alleged that a property worth Rs. 36 crore was purchased with ill-gotten money on the behest of the MLA. The ED has presented evidence, including a diary, an agreement to sell, and the involvement of various accused individuals. The court is expected to provide its decision on January 19, 2024. The case revolves around irregularities in the Delhi Waqf Board and allegations of misappropriation and siphoning of funds.
