Tehsildar Kulgam, Bilal Ahmad, highlighted the positive impact of this digital transition, noting that over 70,000 applications have been successfully processed through online portals since their inception. The convenience offered by these virtual platforms has substantially improved the overall application experience for residents.
One of the key advantages of the online system is the drastic reduction in the need for physical office visits. Bilal Ahmad emphasized that students and farmers, in particular, can now effortlessly access essential documentation from the comfort of their homes, eliminating the inconvenience of travel and long waiting times.
The introduction of the “Revenue Plus” platform has played a pivotal role in consolidating various services, including domicile certificates, Fard, Intikhabat, and mutation attestations. Additionally, the “Jansugam” portal has proven to be a valuable resource for students, facilitating the submission of applications for scholarships, reservation certificates, and other necessary documents, such as character and unemployment certificates.
Bilal Ahmad emphasized the time-saving benefits and enhanced convenience brought about by online applications, stating, “Long queues and wasted time are now a thing of the past. The shift to online records has not only increased efficiency but also eliminated the risk of damage or loss associated with physical documents.”
In essence, the digitization of revenue services in Kulgam Tehsil stands as a testament to the positive impact technology can have on public services.
