PM Modi Emphasizes Sikh Gurus Legacy and Vision for India’s Future
During the ‘Veer Bal Diwas’ event honoring Guru Gobind Singh’s sons, Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted the profound teachings of Sikh gurus that inspire Indians to uplift the nation and strive for its development. PM Modi emphasized India’s emergence from a “mindset of slavery,” expressing confidence in the nation’s people, abilities, and heritage, underscoring how respecting the nation’s heritage has altered its global perception.
The sacrifices of Guru Gobind Singh’s sons resonate not just within India but also internationally, with commemorative events held across nations like the United States, Australia, New Zealand, the UAE, and Greece, PM Modi acknowledged. He outlined his government’s commitment to realizing the dreams of India’s youth, irrespective of their regional or societal backgrounds, projecting the upcoming 25 years as abundant with opportunities for them.
Asserting India’s pivotal role in the global landscape, PM Modi highlighted the nation’s increasing economic prowess and global acknowledgment. He acclaimed India’s presence across diverse fields such as economy, science, research, sports, and strategy. With a burgeoning young population, PM Modi envisioned India’s unprecedented advancement compared to the freedom struggle era.
PM Modi urged the youth to prioritize their health, advocating that good health translates into career success. He urged against the use of narcotics and encouraged a digital detox, while also calling for a collective effort by religious and social organizations to combat drug abuse.
The ‘Veer Bal Diwas’ stands as a symbol of preserving Indian identity, honoring the bravery and ideals of Mata Gujri, Guru Gobind Singh, and the four Sahibzadas, which continue to inspire every Indian, PM Modi concluded.
