Kishtwar Police Launches Operation3rdEye: 130 Vehicles Challaned for Traffic Violations

In a continuation of their efforts under #Operation3rdEye, the Kishtwar Police have taken strict action against traffic rule violators in Kishtwar town. A total of 130 violators were challaned under the Motor Vehicle Act for various offenses, including rash driving, riding without helmets, and wrong parking.

Stringent Enforcement Under the Guidance of SSP Kishtwar

Under the proactive leadership of SSP Kishtwar, Sh. Khalil Poswal-JKPS, a specialized team was formed to address traffic challans. This team utilized advanced technology, including CCTV surveillance, to capture photographic evidence and conduct videography to document violations of traffic rules. The number plate reading system was instrumental in identifying vehicles involved in these violations.

Challans Sent to Violators’ Residences

After identifying the violators and ascertaining their residential addresses, the Kishtwar Police meticulously prepared challans, including photographs of the violations, which were subsequently sent to the residential addresses of the vehicle owners.
