Government employee Suspended in Anantnag j-k
The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has taken the decision to suspend the Regional Director of Survey and Land Records, Anantnag, Mr. Abdul Hafiz Shah, JKAS, pending an inquiry into his conduct.
The suspension, effective immediately, is in accordance with Rule 31 of the Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services (Classification, Control & Appeal) Rules, 1956. The order states, “Pending enquiry into his conduct, Mr. Abdul Hafiz Shah, JKAS, Regional Director, Survey & Land Records (ex-officio Settlement Officer), Anantnag, is hereby placed under suspension, with immediate effect in terms of Rule 31 of Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1956.

During the period of his suspension, he shall remain attached to the office of Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir.”
