OnePlus is gearing up to launch its latest flagship, the OnePlus 12, in China on December 4 during its 10th-anniversary celebrations. Pre-reservations for the phone are already underway through the official OnePlus online store and JD.com. The global launch is anticipated in January.

Processor and Display Specifications

The OnePlus 12 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC, positioning it as a high-end device in the smartphone market. It will feature a ProXDR display from BOE with a 2K resolution and a peak brightness of 2,600 nits. The device has earned DisplayMate’s A+ certification, marking it as the first smartphone in China with a 2K resolution display to achieve this distinction.

Color Options and Design

OnePlus has teased three color options for the OnePlus 12: Pale Green, Rock Black, and White. Each color symbolizes different aspects, with the white representing a touch of blank space, the green symbolizing nature, and the black denoting ten years of hard work. There’s also a possibility of a wood-textured rear panel, based on recent leaks.

Camera and Other Features

The smartphone will come equipped with a Sony LYTIA LYT808 primary rear camera sensor and a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto lens. It is expected to have a 6.82-inch QHD+ curved LTPO display, a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel main sensor, a 32-megapixel front camera, and a 5,400mAh battery supporting 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. The OnePlus 12 will also feature an in-built new-generation X-axis motor, enhancing the gaming experience.

Operating System

The OnePlus 12 will run on ColorOS 14, based on the latest Android 14, ensuring users have access to the newest features and security updates.
