  • Interpol Red Notice: A Red Notice was issued against him by the Interpol General Secretariat in May 2021, at the request of Kerala Police. This notice was distributed to all Interpol member countries.
  • CBI’s Role and Coordination: The Global Operation Centre of the CBI coordinated through Interpol channels to locate Ramachandran in Saudi Arabia.
  • Successful Extradition: With the assistance of the Interpol National Central Bureau in Riyadh, Ramachandran was returned to India on November 23, 2023, by a team from the Kerala Police.
