Defence Minister Rajnath Singh Asserts India’s Strength and Resolve
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, while campaigning in poll-bound Madhya Pradesh, emphasized India’s growing strength and international influence. He stated that India is no longer considered a weak nation and that the world now pays attention when India speaks on international forums. Singh assured that India could eliminate those who attempt nefarious acts on either side of the border.
India’s Growing International Influence
During his address, Rajnath Singh mentioned that India’s global reputation has significantly improved. Under the previous Congress rule, the world perceived India as a weak nation. However, this perception has shifted, and the international community listens when India speaks.
India’s Capability to Defend Itself
Singh declared that India is not a weak country, and no power in the world dares to threaten it. India possesses the capability to eliminate threats on its own side of the border and, if necessary, across the border as well.
Madhya Pradesh’s Development and Growth
Rajnath Singh commended Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan’s leadership in Madhya Pradesh, emphasizing the state’s remarkable transformation. He highlighted Madhya Pradesh’s status as a clean and growing state with significant increases in per capita income.
Election’s Significance for Upcoming Lok Sabha Polls
The Defence Minister emphasized that the forthcoming state elections would also impact the direction of the upcoming Lok Sabha polls. He noted that the people of the country want to see Narendra Modi as Prime Minister once again.
Critique of Opposition Parties
Singh criticized opposition parties, particularly the INDIA alliance, for prioritizing opposition to Narendra Modi over development. He referred to the Samajwadi Party (SP) and Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) as seasonal political entities that become active in Madhya Pradesh only during elections.
Madhya Pradesh Assembly Elections on November 17
The polling for 230 assembly seats in Madhya Pradesh is scheduled for November 17.
