Exam Disaster Strikes: 12th Graders Given 11th Grade Papers
Srinagar – Chaos ensued as hundreds of 12th-grade students received 11th-grade question papers during their examinations, leaving them bewildered and distressed. The incident occurred during the annual regular exams of class 12th conducted by JKBOSE.
Students Left in Distress
Expressing dismay over the lackadaisical approach of the Board authorities, examination in-charges and candidates voiced their concerns. One student lamented that the exam pattern for Physical Education differed significantly from what was notified by the Board. Only two marks were allocated from the 12th-grade syllabus, while the rest of the question paper was based on 11th-grade material.
Amidst Chaos, Exams Postponed
Reports emerged of students in the examination center breaking into tears, with some even fainting due to the shocking turn of events. Acknowledging the gravity of the situation, JKBOSE officials promptly announced the postponement of the exams and assured the issuance of a notification regarding the rescheduled dates. “We have decided to reschedule the exams. New dates will be issued soon,” stated an official.In a state of dismay and confusion, 12th-grade students faced an unexpected challenge as they were handed 11th-grade question papers during their examinations. The incident, occurring during the annual regular exams conducted by JKBOSE, highlighted a significant oversight on the part of the Board authorities.
