Udhampur Police Solve Majalta Theft Case, Arrest Notorious Accused

received a complaint from one Naresh Singh S/O Sansar Singh R/O Sunal, Teh Majalta, Udhampur stating therein that some unknown thieves have stolen some selling items alongwith cash from his shop in the jurisdiction of PS Majalta. In this regard, case FIR No. 16/2025 under relevant section of law stands registered in PS Majalta.

Taking the cognizance of the matter, the special police team led by SHO PS Majalta was formulated to solve the case and nab the culprits. During the investigation several suspects were rounded up by the police team and put to sustained questioning. During which one suspect namely Suman @Raj kumar S/O Munshi Ram R/O Sunal, Majalta confessed his involvement in the said case and has been arrested by the Police team.

On the confession of the accused person, stolen property has been recovered by the police team. Further investigation into the matter is in progress.
