On Wednesday morning, authorities reported the apprehension of two individuals from Kupwara, along with the seizure of weapons and ammunition in the Bemina area of Srinagar. The arrests occurred as part of a routine inspection near Bemina Bypass, in close proximity to Lal Petrol Station.

The detained individuals have been identified as Mumtaz Ahmad Lone (38), son of Gh Qadir Lone, and Jahangir Ahmad Lone (29), son of Gh Mohiddin Lone. Both individuals hail from Trehgam, Kupwara, according to official sources.
