In a tragic incident in Mayurbhanj district, at least six people lost their lives, and nine others sustained injuries when a truck, part of a jatra (dance drama troupe), overturned amid heavy rainfall on National Highway 49. The accident occurred in the Duarsuni Ghat area. The truck was en route from Rairangpur to the Jaleswar area of Balasore district.
