DODA, JANUARY 20: Taking proactive steps towards public safety, a significant awareness event seamlessly integrating National Road Safety Month with the Nasha Mukht campaign unfolded today at Bus Stand Thathri.
Under the vigilant supervision of Deputy Commissioner DODA, Harvinder Singh, and with the guidance of ARTO Doda, Rajesh Gupta, the event aimed to foster awareness about both road safety and the hazards of substance abuse.
The primary focus of the program was to enlighten the public, particularly drivers, on crucial aspects of road safety. The emphasis was on the importance of adhering to traffic rules, wearing helmets, and refraining from driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Inspector MVD Doda, Robin Parihar, took the lead in communicating the goals of the ongoing National Road Safety Month, urging individuals to actively participate in the Nasha Mukht campaign to combat the drug menace. The event also included a pledge-taking ceremony, solidifying the commitment to road safety.
