Taiwan Tracks Chinese Military Activity Amid Rising Tensions
The Ministry of National Defence (MND) of Taiwan reported tracking seven Chinese naval vessels and three military aircraft around Taiwan between Wednesday and Thursday. Despite the presence of People’s Liberation Army (PLA) aircraft, none crossed the Taiwan Strait median line or entered the country’s air defence identification zone (ADIZ).
Response and Monitoring:
Taiwan swiftly responded by deploying aircraft, naval ships, and air defence missile systems to monitor and counter the PLA activity. The Republic of China (ROC) Armed Forces closely monitored the situation and employed appropriate measures to safeguard national security.
