Srinagar Man Missing for Eight Days Found Dead in Ramban

SRINAGAR: A man from Central Kashmir’s Nowgam area of Srinagar was found dead inside a Thar vehicle near Gadool, Ramban, on Monday.

An official said that the individual reported missing since December 22, was found deceased inside the vehicle in a deep gorge.

The official stated that the body was spotted this afternoon, and police arrived at the scene, taking the body into their custody.

The deceased was later identified as Umer Yaseen Shah, a resident of Railway Colony, Nowgam, Srinagar.

Meanwhile, police have taken cognisance of the incident. (KNO)
