School Timings changed in S/z schools of Jammu Division; W/z schools awaits for exact School Timing change order
Directorate of School Education Jammu (DSEJ) on Tuesday announced change in school timings in all government and recognized private schools upto the Higher Secondary level in the summer zone of Jammu division from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. However, the exact school timing for the winter zones schools have not been notified. As per order copy, it has being said, “The concerned chief Education Officers of Winter zone shall also reduce one hour of teaching in consultation with deputy commissioner, if required.”
The decision was taken after representations about change in school timings poured in from parents and other stakeholders amidst intense heat wave prevailing in Jammu & Kashmir.
Whereas, the same decision has been taken for kashmir division, where directorate of school education kashmir DSEK, notifies the order.
