    Pulwama Police successfully apprehended three individuals involved in a theft case, bringing a quick resolution to a complaint lodged on August 9, 2024.

    The complaint, filed by Irshad Ahmad Dar, son of Gh Mohammad Dar and a resident of Lajoora Pulwama, reported the theft of a water pump from the under-construction Sheep Building at Dangerpora, Pulwama.

    Upon receiving the complaint, Pulwama Police wasted no time in initiating a thorough investigation. A case was registered under FIR No. 163/2024 U/S 331, 305 BNS at Police Station Pulwama.

    The investigative team swiftly began gathering information and identified three suspects in connection with the theft.

    The suspects, identified as Sheraj Ahmad Bhat, son of Gh Nabi Bhat from Keller; Mehrooz Mushtaq, son of Mushtaq Ahmad Dar; and Imtiyaz Ahmad Mir, son of Mohd Qasim Mir from Dangerpora, were rounded up by the police.

    After sustained and rigorous questioning, the three suspects admitted their involvement in the theft.

    Following their confession, the police were able to recover the stolen water pump from a location disclosed by the suspects. The successful recovery of the stolen item has been a significant step in resolving the case.
