Poultry Farm Fire in Jammu Claims Lives of 2,000 Chickens; Investigation Underway
On Monday, officials reported a devastating fire at a poultry farm located on the outskirts of Jammu city, resulting in the tragic loss of more than 2,000 chickens. The incident unfolded in the Doke Jagir area of Akhnoor tehsil on Sunday night within the farm owned by Ranjeet Singh.
The sudden outbreak of the fire led to its rapid spread, ultimately engulfing the entire poultry facility. Unfortunately, the intense flames claimed the lives of over 2,000 chickens housed on the farm.
Currently, efforts are underway to assess the extent of the damage caused by the fire. Simultaneously, authorities are actively investigating the origin and cause of this unfortunate incident.
