
Poultry_Farm Caught Fire in Marmat; Heavy Extent of loss
In an unfortunate fire incident in Tehsil Marmat of Doda, over 700 chickens were burnt in a massive blaze, resulting in a heavy financial loss to the owner.
Today, at around 8:15 pm, a huge fire breaks out in a two-storey Poultry_Farm near Goha, Marmat, which belongs to Pawan Kumar s/o Sarup Chand.
As a result, a two-storey Poultry_Farm was gutted in a fire, and this massive fire claimed the lives of over 700 chickens and destroyed infrastructure. However, the reason of fire is not known yet.

As the news spread, the locals, the army unit Goha, and, along with the staff of police unit Goha, also undertook the rescue operation, but unfortunately, due to the heavy blaze of fire, they weren’t able to reduce the extent of damage.
As per our sources, the Fire and Emergency Department Doda was also called, which, if it had even reached the spot, couldn’t control the flames. As there is a much larger time difference between district headquarters Doda and Tehsil headquarters Marmat, for which the fire couldn’t wait.

Similarly, fire incidents were also reported from other places of Tehsil Marmat. VoM News provided the coverage of the fire incidents and demanded the sanction of the fire station in any central place of the tehsil Marmat.
The locals of the area have repeatedly demanded the facility of fire tender near Bhargran, Marmat, to prevent any devastating incident in the nearby future.
Unfortunately, the non-serious attitude of the administration and political setup has resulted in no development being made regarding the sanction of the fire station in Marmat.
