PM Modi Celebrates Tamil Culture in Palladam Rally
Addressing a public rally in Palladam, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his deep connection to Tamil language and culture, emphasizing the global impact of a Tamil poem he read at the UN. He highlighted his efforts to promote Tamil traditions, citing the organization of Kashi Tamil Sangamam in his constituency Varanasi and the installation of ‘Sengol’ in the Parliament as a mark of respect to Tamil Nadu’s rich heritage.
Ekta Yatra’s Historical Link to Tamil Nadu
Reflecting on history, PM Modi recalled the initiation of the Ekta Yatra nearly 32 years ago in 1991 from Kanyakumari. PM Modi proudly announced the successful accomplishment of both objectives, demonstrating the transformative journey Tamil Nadu is currently experiencing through the ‘en man en makkal’ padayatra.

PM Modi expressed gratitude for the love he received from the soil of Tamil Nadu and acknowledged the state’s pivotal role in his political journey.
