One Dead, Six Injured in Three Separate Road Accidents in J-k’s Doda
In a series of unfortunate incidents in Doda district on Saturday, three separate road accidents claimed the life of one person and left six others injured. The first accident occurred in the evening when a Tata Mobile and a Scooty collided near Padarnah Bore, resulting in the Scooty falling into a deep ditch. Four individuals suffered serious injuries, and despite immediate response and efforts, the Scooty driver, Waseem Sajjad, succumbed to his injuries. The injured, Talib Hussain, Aqib Hussain, and Punjab Singh, were rushed to Government Medical College Doda.
In another incident, an SUV with registration number JK06BG-0764 met with an accident near Guldanda, Bhaderwah, causing injuries to two persons identified as Sanjay Minhas and Sandeep Manhas. The rescue team promptly shifted the injured to a nearby hospital for medical attention. The third accident involved an Auto Riksha with registration number JK06B 8140 near Dumail, resulting in injuries to the driver, Hamid Ali (34), who was later transferred to nearby Hospital for treatment.
Immediate Response and Ongoing Investigation
Immediate response from local residents and the police played a crucial role in providing assistance and initiating rescue efforts. The injured individuals are receiving medical care, and authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding each accident. The incidents underscore the need for continued efforts to enhance road safety awareness and enforcement measures in the region.
